Purpose
A great group of Year 10 students and their teachers are heading to Cambodia for a service trip. They’ll be teaching English and getting involved in a range of local projects.
A great group of students and teachers spent an incredible time in Cambodia building genuine relationships with students, staff, and the local community. They met sponsored children, shared their stories, and enjoyed lots of meaningful moments together; cooking spaghetti bolognese, playing soccer, and joining in painting and practical projects around the centre. Evenings were just as special, with bonfires, sky lanterns, and time to reflect together.
Students also prepared and delivered English lessons in Cambodian classrooms, learning as much as they taught. The trip finished with a memorable visit to Angkor Wat in the rain, soaking up the culture and history as a team.
